J.R. Byrd - J.R. Byrd is a singer-songwriter from the humblest of towns, Littleton, Colorado. Shaped heavily by the jazz department at the University of North Texas, J.R.’s songs tend to boast poignant, bluesy melodies over rich, sweeping harmonies. That said, J.R’s witty lyrics are usually what set off most people’s alarms. Byrd’s “smart pop” can be most likened to John Mayer, Seal or Sting, but certainly brings its own hops to the dance.

Open Bottle Band - The Empty Bottle Band, is comprised of members. Stephen Pipes, James Kerley, Drew Willeford, and Dennis Richards. The band is making a name in the East Texas area, with the release of their debut album "Long Road Ahead". The band is the perfect blend of Red Dirt Music, mixed with a Southern Rock attitude. Even though they are new to the scene, the band is by far not amateurs, which shows with their original music, that is sure to leave you wanting more, and help the Empty Bottle Band establish and leave their mark on the Texas Music Scene.

Sisters of the Dance Sister's of the Dance is a unique belly dance troupe that does not limit them selves to belly dance. Karri, Troupe Director and choreographer comes from CA and has made East TX her home three years ago. She has brought her classic style of dance, and has created a troupe of eight ladies specializing in the Jamilla Salimpour style of be folklore fused with cabaret and traditional style of belly dance.

The Scrips - The Scrips are a four piece string band with an indie-rock heart; writing original music inspired by Old-Time, Folk & Bluegrass. From darkened Mountain Modal banjo to high-lonesome voices, The Scrips are raw acoustic music with mythical Appalachian origins.

Lauren Alexander - Singing publicly since age 6, Lauren has spent more than half of her life on stage. A promising guitarist and songwriter, she has performed at nearly 200 venues for 2004 and 2005. Ms. Alexander has been featured on ABC, CBS and NBC - TV. Lauren says, “there are so many artists these days that make a record and hope it gets heard. I believe that you have to take your music to the people.” She has done just that by performing at hundreds of venues. Lauren has had a full time band since the age of 11, and has opened for Pat Green, along with a long list of prominent Texas musicians, including Dan Seals, Asleep at the Wheel, Tommy Alverson, Morrison-Williams, Ed Burleson and Deryl Dodd, just to name a few. As a result, this driven young lady performs with the presence and poise of someone well beyond her years. Her latest single has just been released to radio, and is currently out on CD-Tex. She will be heading out on her radio tour in the next few months. Lauren is a new and brightly shining star from the Lone Star State. Catch her rise on the Texas music charts!

Clearly Vocal - Clearly Vocal is a five-member a cappella vocal group from Tyler, Texas, performing a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, pop, holiday, love songs, classical, secular and sacred. As winners of the 2010 Contemporary A Cappella League Showcase, Clearly Vocal was a featured group at the SoJam A Cappella Festival in Durham, North Carolina, November 12 & 13, 2010. Clearly Vocal provides music for all occasions, such as private parties, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, etc., with a varied repertoire in the style of The Manhattan Transfer, The Swingle Singers, Take Six and others. Members are Andy Albright, Stefanie Albright, John Hodges, Kimberly Hodges and Don Neal.

Carol Sherwood - Carol Cline Sherwood enjoys singing many genres of music, including the old standards, country, pop, and southern gospel. She has been influenced by a wide variety of vocal talents, such as Dean Martin, Rosemary Clooney, Patsy Cline, and several others. Carol often performs in costume for an added flair and says that when she looks around and sees people enjoying themselves it gives her energy and adds an extra measure of life to a song.

Neal Katz - Neal is an emerging artist on the folk music scene. After years of writing folk music and playing it for friends and open-mics, Neal has begun performing his music at coffee-houses, folk festivals, living room concerts, and more. On stage, he is high energy and offers touching and funny introductions to his songs. His music is uplifting, beautiful, and funny.

Grant Cook - Life-long professional musician that shared the stage and recorded with many famous artists. After touring extensively on his own the last decade, he is now settled back down to his roots at Lake Palestine where he owns a music store and gives private music instruction full time. Most recently you can catch him in the Green Acres Baptist Church Celebration Orchestra every Sunday morning or on Channel 7 at 9 a.m. He will be performing a variety of music (including some of his own) with some humor in the mix! Come and be entertained.
